EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Reports to: Easthampton Housing Authority Board of Commissioners
Salary Range: $97,258 - $102,258 commensurate with experience and education.
Position Summary
The Easthampton Housing Authority (EHA) provides safe, quality, and affordable housing to low-income residents of Easthampton, Massachusetts. Guided by our mission to preserve and expand affordable housing, EHA works to ensure that all residents have access to stable homes and opportunities to thrive.
The Executive Director (ED) serves as the chief executive and administrative officer of the EHA, responsible for overall leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Board of Commissioners, the E.D. oversees the management of EHA’s housing programs, fiscal operations, personnel, and community relations.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate is a mission-driven, collaborative leader with a commitment to housing equity and public service.
∙ Commitment to fair housing principles, diversity,
and equitable service delivery.
∙ Two years’ experience in public or private housing,
community development, public administration,
non-profit administration or a related field that
demonstrates strong management and
organizational skills.
∙ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and
communication skills, with the ability to engage
residents, staff, and community stakeholders.
∙ Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams,
manage multiple programs, and implement
policies effectively.
∙ Demonstrated desire to work with tenants on a
personal level.
∙ Proven fiscal management experience, including
budget preparation and financial reporting.
∙ Strong knowledge of EOHLC regulations and
housing program operations preferred.
∙ Supervise a team of 5-8 people.
While not required for hiring, certification as a property manager or similar classification by a nationally recognized housing or real estate organization or by certification as a MPHA of a EOHLC-approved Massachusetts Public Housing Administrator Certification Program is desirable or must be obtained within the first year of employment.

∙ Work Schedule: Full-time position, regular business hours, occasional evening or weekend commitments. This is an in-person role.
∙ Compliance: All duties shall be performed in accordance with applicable state, local laws EOHLC regulations, and directives of the Board of Commissioners.
