Senior Project Manager (Solutions Analyst) (SG Americas Operational Services, LLC, New York, NY)
Develop functional requirements and solution options by working with Stakeholders. Ensure adherence to regulatory, legal, & compliance requirements by working with the relevant internal contacts. Oversee the project lifecycle, including testing and deployment. Ensure appropriate communication to all Stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Lead transversal / cross-divisional projects to support the business, including project planning, defining budgets, and driving varied streams through all phases of SDLC- System Development Life Cycle. Interface with senior business and IT sponsors and manage the client relationship and provide clear reports (project status and costs, provide report to ease the arbitrage process, etc.). Gather and comprehend the needs, objectives, and expectations of both US and IT stakeholders. Provide timely updates on the progress of projects, including milestones achieves, challenges faced, and adjustments made to the timeline or scope. Track project expenses accurately and transparently, providing breakdown of costs incurred and ensuring alignment with the client’s budget expectations. Partner with all required streams (e.g. Front Office, Operations, etc.) as required to successfully deliver the intended topic. Ensure a good project process and coordinate with other teams like infrastructure, compliance, and support teams. Conduct formal studies and analysis leading to recommendations for strategic solutions. Salary: $150,301 - $300,000 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Business Management or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Project/Portfolio Manager, System Analyst, Solution Architect or any occupation, job title, position involving trading and brokerage operations (including front to back processing).
Must also have the following special skills: 5 years of professional experience working at a global financial institution with financial products (including Equity Financing Derivatives) and IT ecosystem/architecture including Front to Back-office trading platforms; 5 years of professional experience using financial instruments including Equities, Fixed income and derivatives in order to deal with complex products or workflows; 5 years of professional experience performing Market and Credit risk analysis of trading activity and regulatory risk; 5 years of professional experience performing project management and budgeting, and developing and implementing change management and business transformation project activities (including optimizing, streamlining, increasing efficiency, and reducing costs); 5 years of professional experience managing cross-border banking operations and projects spanning multiple jurisdictions or regions including regulatory requirements, market practice, and cultural considerations in international financial environments; 5 years of professional experience working through the Full Development Life Cycle; and 5 years of professional experience in conducting formal studies and analysis across different functions of financial institution leading to recommendations for strategic solutions.
