Journeyman Lineman

City of Monroe CITY The City of Monroe City, Missouri, is seeking a full-time Journeyman Lineman for its Electric Department. This position involves constructing, maintaining, and repairing overhead and underground electrical power systems, including lines, poles, transformers, and equipment. The successful candidate will restore power to residential, commercial, and industrial customers, troubleshoot electrical issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Candidates must possess a Journeyman Electrician certification, a valid Missouri CDL with air brake endorsement, and the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and under various weather conditions. Experience and physical ability to perform strenuous tasks are required. The role offers a salary range of $29.00 to $34.00 per hour, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Qualifications:

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
