Job Duties:
Successful colleagues will provide evidence of effective teaching and clinical work as well as be prepared to offer courses in both the didactic and clinical years. Primary responsibilities will be to didactic year students; however, all principal faculty will be fully integrated into the clinical year of the program and will provide graduate level instruction in all phases of the program. This position will assist the program director in the review, planning and development of the program. The candidate will participate in the accreditation process including ongoing course assessments, student assessments, remediation, faculty/staff assessments, program assessments, competency evaluations, accreditation site visits and data collection. This position actively participates in student recruitment and admissions (both undergraduate and graduate physician assistant studies) and student advising (both undergraduate and undergraduate). The position includes emphasis on service and scholarly activities for one’s own growth and development and the benefit of the institution and program. Candidates should have a strong interest in designing enriching experiences for students that foster community engagement, holistic views of medicine and deeper understanding of human behavior. A principal objective of the Primary Care Research Fellowship is to train primary care physicians and PhD scientists interested in careers in medical research related to the organization, delivery, or effectiveness of primary health care and preventive medicine.&nbsp;
Research project completion, published papers, and grant proposals are the main goals for fellows. The fellowship is open to physicians or PhD-level health professionals aiming for research-centered careers who could benefit from 2 years of protected time, intensive mentorship, and research support. Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor of Environmental Science 
The Department of Geography and the Environment at Villanova University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor (continuing non-tenure track) position in Environmental Science starting in August 2024. We seek a colleague to teach in the environmental sciences to support the growth of the Department’s undergraduate programs. A Ph.D. in environmental science or a related field is required. Exceptional candidates with at least six years of full-time undergraduate teaching experience will be considered for the rank of Associate Teaching Professor. Stanford Department of African and African American Studies Open Rank: Black Studies in the Arts

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures seeks to hire a tenure-track professor of French and Francophone literatures and cultures specializing in any of the periods prior to the nineteenth century, from the Middle Ages to the aftermath of the French Revolution. We are looking for a scholar who envisions their research within a capacious conception of the spaces, texts, and times involved in pre-1800 French and Francophone studies. We are especially interested in approaches that place literature and cultural expressions in conversation with interdisciplinary fields such as gender and sexuality studies, decolonial studies, and the environmental humanities. Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching is crucial, as is the ability to capture the interest of a diverse student body.&nbsp;
The Department will consider candidates with a PhD from disciplines other than French Studies, but fluency in French is required. Doctorate required by the time the appointment begins on July 1, 2024. The tenure-track professor will be responsible for teaching four courses a year and supervising theses at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

The Director of the Career Center is responsible for providing leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of services/programs designed to enhance student career development and preparedness. &nbsp;The director will have the opportunity to define the vision and work of the center in accordance with the university’s mission to educate leaders to change the world while valuing social responsibility. The successful candidate will be student-centered and committed to developing relationships that support students in discerning and achieving their professional goals. The director will collaborate with academic affairs, alumnae relations, student life, enrollment management as well as constituencies outside the university to create and implement programs/services designed to enhance student success.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
<ul>
<li>encouraging students in plans for personal and professional development defining and assessing learning outcomes for center programs and services networking with potential employers and professional associations to provide career development opportunities, including internships, for Notre Dame students in a variety of academic programs providing leadership in coordinating virtual and face to face employer visits and regularly scheduled career/internship fairs</li>
<li>developing and implementing a data collection and reporting system to track student outcomes and satisfaction as well as progress toward strategic goals</li>
<li>collaborating with the First Year Experience program to develop and implement effective career advising strategies for incoming students providing individual career advising sessions for students and alums</li>

Qualifications
Knowledge: Master’s degree in higher education, educational administration, organizational development, leadership or a related area.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Experience: Three to five years in higher education with progressive levels of responsibility. Candidates should have experience in fostering students’ professional and personal development, working with diverse student populations, advising students, and student advocacy.&nbsp; The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate success in establishing partnerships with academic departments and external partners as well as planning and evaluating career support programs.
Skills/Aptitude: The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, and entrepreneurial. The director must have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with students, staff, and faculty. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a necessity. The director will take initiative in planning and problem solving and must have proficiency with data collection and analysis.&nbsp; Ability to manage multiple priorities, including budgets and scheduling, is a requirement. The director should also exhibit a strong service orientation and an understanding of and commitment to liberal arts education rooted in the Catholic tradition of the charism of the School Sisters of Notre Dame.&nbsp;

Director of the Career Center

Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, is accepting applications for Continuing Lecturer Flight Instructor positions beginning in fall 2023. This appointment is in the School of Aviation &amp; Transportation Technology, the Purdue Polytechnic Institute. Essential job duties include the following: (1) Instruct undergraduate flight lab courses in aviation technology; (2) Assess student performance; (3) Conduct Part 61 and 141 Stage Checks; (4) Mentor students and instructors; (5) Supervise night and Sunday flight activities; (6) Participate in projects and assignments at the discretion of the Chief Flight Instructor; (7) Demonstrate a commitment to inclusion and transformational education.
Applicants must possess and earned Bachelor's degree at time of hire,&nbsp;or completed within one year of hire, in aviation and transportation technology or related field; must have at least 500 hours of total flight time and 200 hours of dual instruction given, or equivalent teaching experience and/or relevant industry experience; must have demonstrated ability to teach, manage a classroom and course; applicants must possess a current FAA issued Flight Instructor Certificate with an instrument rating (CFII), Multi engine instructor rating is preferred, and at least a third class medical.&nbsp; An instructor who meets the flight time qualifications of FAA CFR 141.36(d) is preferred.&nbsp; Candidates must have the ability to work in the US without immigration sponsorship from Purdue University.
